Electronic Overload Relays

An electronic overload relay is a type of switch used in electric motors to monitor and protect against a voltage or current overload condition. Rather than using a thermal overload trip, an electronic overload relay enables a "trip" circuit that shuts off power to the motor starter when an overload condition is detected.
